1. I need to trade with increasing amounts of money in order to get the excitement I want from trading.

2. I am restless or irritable when I try to cut down on trading or stop trading.

3. I have made repeated unsuccessful efforts to control, cut back, or stop trading.

4. I am preoccupied with trading (thinking about past trades, planning future ones, or figuring out how to get more money to trade).

5. I often trade when I am feeling distressed (helpless, guilty, anxious, or depressed).

6. After losing money trading, I often return the next day to try to "get even."

7. I have lied to family members or others to conceal the extent of my trading activity.

8. I have done something illegal or unethical (borrowing without permission, misrepresenting, unauthorized use of funds) to finance trading.

9. I have jeopardized or lost a significant relationship, job, or career opportunity because of trading.

10. I rely on others to provide money to relieve a desperate financial situation caused by trading.

11. Thinking honestly about my trading: I am trading primarily for financial returns, not primarily for the excitement, relief, or thrill of it.
